I recommend using Bauer goalie gear. Personally, I use Bauer forever and it is very trustworthy. I've used the Bauer GSX models (one seen above), especially the one in the image. Everyone has different preferences, but I highly recommend Bauer.

The needed gear for a goalie is:

leg pads, glove/trapper, blocker, goalie stick, goalie helmet, goalie chest protector, neck pretector, knee protectors, goalie skates, and goalie pants/shorts.
